It's back! After a successful launch in 2023, Hennepin Healthcare Foundation returns with Adventurama, an urban experience in downtown Minneapolis. This fundraiser invites teams of two adults to complete challenges within a three-mile loop of HCMC. Teams earn points by completing both mental and physical challenges at 10 pit stops. This is not a timed course. You go at your own pace and complete as many challenges as you like. We listened to feedback and are elevating the challenges while bringing back favorites.
For 130 years and counting, Hennepin Healthcare has been a fixture in downtown Minneapolis serving the community. Our doors are open to all who need care. You count on us to lead during disasters, through pandemics, heart attacks and trauma. Now let's have fun.
All proceeds from this event support patient comfort and care at Hennepin Healthcare. In addition to your team registration, we invite you to create your own fundraising campaign. Our DIY software, Funraise will guide you in creating your digital fundraising profile. From there, you can share your page with family and friends via email or social media. Register Your Team
Recruit your favorite person and get ready for an urban adventure in the heart of Minneapolis. Team registration is through Eventbrite and is limited to 150 teams. Participants must be 18 years or older.
Volunteer
Join us to make it all happen and watch teams compete while supporting their experience. Volunteer at pit stops, registration or set-up. Volunteer portal is through SignUp Genius.

Adventurama Supports a Dying Wish
In early March, our team cared for a patient dying of cancer. She had a couple of months to live at most, so the team arranged a family phone call. Afterwards, the patient became extremely upset over her circumstances. Her care team contacted her family who shared they were willing to take her home to Kansas, if we could somehow help. Proceeds from Adventurama 2023 allowed the purchase of a $300 gas card. On March 6 the patient's brothers arrived. They retrieved her cat and belongings and brought their sister home to Kansas where she is now surrounded by family for the final moments of her life.
