Neurology

We diagnose, treat and care for adults and children with common and complex neurological disorders or diseases of the brain and nervous system.

This is a hospital-based clinic. What does this mean?

Neurology Clinic

Our clinic sees 5,000 patients a year. We welcome all patients, referred and self-referred, pediatric and adults with:

  • Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's disease
  • Epilepsy
  • Head and face pain, including headaches and migraines
  • Huntington's disease
  • Movement/neuromuscular disorders
  • Parkinson's disease
  • Seizures
  • Sleep disorders
  • Stroke

Special diagnostic tests and biopsies support the work, including electroencephalography (EEG), electromyography, and light and electron microscopy.

Inpatient (hospital) care

In addition to outpatient (clinic) care, we consult, diagnose and treat patients who come through the Emergency Department and/or are hospitalized.
