"I am committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care each and every day. I actively engage each patient to establish a plan that meets each individual's needs. My passion for patient advocacy, education, and most importantly excellent care for those in need is displayed through active listening, clear communication, critical thinking, and thorough physical assessments. I believe that my role as a health care provider is to be a partner in health with my patients. I am truly honored to continue my career in the Burn Unit where my nursing career first started in 2013."

Clinical expertise

Cassandra is a Nurse Practitioner who specializes in the treatment of burns, wounds, frostbite, and reconstruction of scars with laser therapy both in the inpatient and outpatient settings. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Mankato State University. She worked as a Burn ICU nurse since 2013 before receiving her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Georgetown University.
