"It is an honor and a privilege for me to provide medical care to my patients. A hospital stay is a stressful experience, and my goal is to help alleviate that stress to any extent possible, by making myself available to listen, to answer questions and explain things to patients, their families, and other providers. I strive to provide the best possible patient-centered care with compassion and empathy."

Clinical expertise

Dr. Schwab has worked her entire career as a hospitalist, caring exclusively for medically ill adult patients admitted to the hospital and working to ensure a smooth transition from hospital to home. She joined Hennepin Healthcare in 2009 after working for 3 years at the University of Iowa as an academic hospitalist. Outside of direct patient care, she also enjoys resident and medical student education.
