"I am deeply committed to working with and advocating for our patients, utilizing a holistic approach that considers social determinants of health and the biopsychosocial perspective to equitably address diverse needs. I strongly believe in the recognition of and utilization of privilege, at the intersection of race, gender, and class, to elevate the voices of those who are marginalized. I am also passionate about medical education and am always happy to work with medical students and residents."

My experiences & interests
Personal
"I enjoy spending time with my family. Aside from my medical career, I am a classical/flamenco/jazz guitarist, composer, and recorded artist, having released 7 full-length albums and appeared as a guest artist on multiple albums. I perform frequently throughout the Twin Cities, with several recent notable appearances including being a featured artist in the Emmy-winning television program "Art + Medicine: Reflections on the Pandemic" and the on-stage guitarist for MN Opera's production of "Carmen." I am currently working on notating several sheet music books of my compositions and arrangements for solo guitar. I am also working on a debut novel that marries elements of fantasy and magical realism."
