Clinical expertise

Katie is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist who graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice degree. She began her career as a Registered Nurse working with medical and surgical patients, after obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She spent the next several years working in surgical/trauma intensive care until returning home to pursue her Advanced Practice Nursing degree with a specialty in anesthesia.
