Clinical expertise

Lena is a board-certified nurse practitioner who specializes in the treatment of patients with heart failure and other cardiac disease. She earned a Doctorate in Nursing Practice at the University of Minnesota, after having studied nursing at St. Catherine University. She has experience managing complex medical issues and comorbidities from her work with vulnerable adults and elderly individuals in long term care facilities. She joined the Hennepin Healthcare cardiology group, focusing on patients with heart failure.
