Commitment to Patient-Centered Care
“I believe the best care is built on trust, collaboration, and respect. While I bring specialized training in child and adolescent psychology, I approach every family with humility—knowing that you are the experts on your lived experiences, values, and goals. I aim to empower young people and their families by listening closely, honoring their values, and partnering with you to find care plans that truly fit. I strive to create a safe, affirming space where all children and adolescents feel seen, supported, and valued.”
Clinical Expertise
Mark Lynn, PhD, LP, ABPP, earned his PhD in Clinical Psychology from Marquette University in 2012 and attained board certification in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology (ABPP) in 2018. He completed his doctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Children’s Minnesota, emphasizing child/adolescent clinical and pediatric psychology. Dr. Lynn went on to complete a second, two-year postdoctoral fellowship at Northwestern University, specializing in family systems and couples and family therapy, as well as collaborative/systemic models of psychological and therapeutic assessment. He has since served in a variety of hospital and medical center settings, including general and integrated behavioral health clinics, consultation-liaison services, and gender health and HIV collaborative care programs. His clinical interests have included advancing the mission and goals of behavioral health in medical settings; supporting children, adolescents, and their families through a wide range of challenges, particularly during key developmental transitions (e.g., toward early adolescence or young adulthood); and providing advocacy and affirming care for queer youth.

Personal
“I highly value and prioritize my family and friends. I enjoy Lego (don’t give up the magic!), my kickball team, health and exercise, the North shore, gardening, and watering my garden in a meditative state, for as long as the garden tells me to (I’m basically already retired? 🙂 ).”
