I understand that radiology procedures can be confusing. With that in mind, I make it a point to take the time to explain medical terms and procedures in a way that patients and their families can understand."

Clinical expertise

Dr. Oswood specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the brain and spine. He has 15 years of experience in performing non-operative pinpoint injections for the treatment of back and joint pain. He also has extensive experience in MRI including functional and metabolic examinations (fMRI and MR spectroscopy). Dr. Oswood has a special interest in cancer of the nervous system and is conducting several research studies to evaluate the use of advanced MRI techniques in the treatment of brain tumors.
