Clinical expertise

Mercedes is a Counseling Psychologist who specializes in complex trauma, self-care, and vocational psychology. She completed a Ph.D. in counseling psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She has worked in many urban Midwest contexts and has extensive experience serving individuals of the Global Majority. Dr. Santana is a member of the psychology training team and envisions training in a radical healing space.
