"I strive to make a hospital stay at HCMC as positive as possible. The hospital may seem like a scary, unfamiliar place for patients and their families. I work as part of a team of nurses, therapists, pharmacists, and social workers to provide information and support to ensure a swift recovery."

Clinical expertise

Dr. Stansbury-O'Donnell received her undergraduate degree from The Johns Hopkins University and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Chicago. She practiced as a social worker with adolescents and their families before entering medical school at the University of Minnesota. After residency training at HCMC, she spent several years in private practice before returning to HCMC as a Hospitalist. Dr. Stansbury-O'Donnell has a special interest in quality measures and improvement in care.
