Trauma Surgery

Our trauma surgeons are board-certified, and many have completed specialty fellowships in their area of surgical specialty. We perform nearly 10,000 surgeries each year. While more than one-third of the surgical patients are considered "major" in the severity of illness according to University Health Consortium data, Hennepin Healthcare surgeons also provide a full range of elective surgical care and have expertise in the latest minimally invasive techniques.

Additional Trauma Services

Trauma Services oversees the operations of Hennepin Healthcare's trauma program. We have been verified as a Level I Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center for the twelfth consecutive time.
