Hennepin Healthcare is sponsoring its first annual Community Health Fair at the Phyllis Wheatley Community Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2024. The event will feature community health resources, free health screenings, COVID-19/flu testing and vaccines, employment opportunities, Talent Garden information, voter registration, financial planning resources, expungement information, local food, music, free haircuts for the kids, fun for all ages and much more! "We're excited to partner with other organizations to get healthy with our community at this event," explains one of the coordinators, Hennepin Healthcare's Dr. Myriam Roby. "It's a perfect opportunity to connect and get access to some health resources for you and your family."
